Hardware:
-
Ryzen Whitebox Router
- Athlon 3000GE
- Some MSI board I think
- 8GB @ 3000
- 2x 128GB SSDs
- 4x1Gb Intel PCIe NIC
- SuperMicro CSE-512 Case
- Had to leave the IO shield off to make it fit, along with a lot of other hacky non-sense. Probably wouldn’t recommend following my build, but I had most of the hardware laying around and wanted off my USG. Works pretty well all things considered.
-
2x HPe DL360p Gen8 + 1x HPe DL380p Gen8 (All configured identically in a vSphere cluster)
- 2x E5-2630 (6c/12t @ 3.60 GHz)
- 128 GB ECC
- 500GB SATA SSD (ESXi 7 installation)
- 128GB NVMe SSD (vSAN Cache Tier)
- 6x 300GB 15k SAS (vSAN Capacity Tier, RAID6)
- 10Gbit PCIe card (currently unused)
- 1Gbit Management and VMs, 1Gbit vSAN, 1Gbit vMotion
- iLO 4 Advanced
-
HPe DL380e Gen8
- 2x E5-2420 (6c/12t @ 1.90 GHz)
- 96 GB ECC
- 2x 240GB SSD (Boot pool)
- 4x 8TB WD in Raid-z1 vdev
- 800GB Oracle F80 (flashed to present all volumes as one RAID 1 volume)
- Nvidia Quadro P400 (for Plex transcoding)
- 10Gbit
- TrueNAS SCALE
-
Ryzen vGPU Host
- Ryzen 5 3600
- ASRock Rack X470-D4U
- 32GB @ 3000
- 256GB + 512GB NVMe
- Nvidia Tesla K80 (with shroud removed and ghetto expansion bay cooling rig)
- Looks awful but I don’t look in to the server so I don’t care, great solution if you have one of these you want to cool without using a Delta blower or burning your house down
- XCP-ng
-
Mikrotik CSS326-24G-2S+RM
- 24x1Gb RJ45 ports, 2 10Gb SFP+ ports
- Great switch. Super cheap entry point for 10Gbit as I only need 1 10Gbit port right now.
-
APC Smart-UPS 1500
- It has batteries
- It keeps things running for a few minutes when my power goes out
